Description: Matched pair of deep walnut Victorian shadow box frames. Inside each is a photo of a man and woman inside a wreath of wax flowers and leaves. A number of the flower petals in the frame with the woman have become disengaged and are at the bottom of the display. There is a fabulous original label on the back of one showing that they were crafted by Hardy and Yarnall, Philadelphia. This company was owned by two woman entrepreneurs, Mary Hardy and Ann Yarnall. These two pieces are a choice example of American Victorian art work in unusually small frames!
Circa: 1870
Dimensions: 12"H x 10"W x 3.5"D
Finish: Frames are excellent original finish. One of the wax designs has some wax loss.
Price: $1150.00 For the pair
