Description: Matched pair of Victorian round walnut shadow boxes with original plaster busts in the interior. The woman has a necklace and has a partially legible signature at the bottom. We desaturated the signature in Photoshop to see it better. It appears to be "AOHNAI 1868" The O has a dash in the middle. (see photo). The raised bust of the gentleman has a hairline across the head. They have old paper backings. These are a fascinating pair of Victorian artworks in deep walnut period frames!
